An ongoing, progressive series discovering modesty and the term hijab through the artist's lens and her experiences of being a Chinese-Malay Muslim woman in Singapore. It is a journey of self-discovery for the artist, as she navigates conflicting values and expectations in a practice that has become a part of her daily life. Yin hopes for the work to spark conversation about women's identity in Islam and the relationship between religion and identity at large.
